A poetic plea to humanity for brotherhood and communion with Nature, in English and Spanish. I cannot own a sparrow, A peacock or a tree. Even in my own backyard, They don't belong to me! No one can own the starlight; No one can own the sun. No person owns a river, It simply can't be done! You may own a comfy house With knickknacks on a shelf. But who could own a raindrop? A raindrop owns itself!
